Must-Try craft beer in Vigo

CRAFT VIGO

Craft Vigo holds a special place in my heart and stomach. One of my favorite memories is when they came out with a mini hot dog tapa for me. This artisanal beer shop has a large selection of craft beers on tap, bottled brews, and serves up some incredible warm tapas that come with each beer.

Stop by here for a pint and you’ll be surprised by the plethora of international beers lining the wall. Their shop offers seating indoors, as well as, on their bottom level which gives off homey garage vibes.

If you have any questions about the beers on tap or want recommendations on what to try, the bartender is very knowledgeable and fun to chat with. You won’t want to miss out on this spot while you drink your way through artisanal beers in Vigo.

MASH VIGO : Beer Store & Tap Room

Often overlooked, MASH Taproom on Calle Ecuador shouldn’t be missed. This shop opened in July 2020 and has been offering a curated selection of artisanal beers from both local and international breweries ever since. With 10 rotating taps, patrons can enjoy a variety of styles, from refreshing Pilsners to robust Stouts and hoppy IPAs.

The ambiance at MASH Vigo is both inviting and unpretentious, with thoughtful touches that reflect the owners’ passion for craft beer. Whether you’re a seasoned beer enthusiast or new to the world of artisanal brews, MASH Vigo provides a welcoming environment to discover and enjoy craft beer in Vigo.

La de Julio

La de Julio surprised me literally when I first found it. I walked in for a thrifting event and was surprised by an array of craft beers on tap. This place has an unassuming and homey feeling.

It’s where the locals go when they’re looking for craft beer in Vigo. Pop in here for a few cold ones and then continue to the nearby art galleries for some live music.

CERVIA Asociación Cervexeira Viguesa

Grungy, no-frills, and divey are a few adjectives I’d use to describe this craft beer in Vigo spot. Cervia Asociación is open to anyone, but if you could see yourself frequenting this spot regularly you can join their collective and get reduced prices on the beers on tap.

They have three beers on tap that they rotate frequently. Just take a look at their chalkboard menu to see what’s on tap that week. There’s also a fridge where you can find interesting bottled craft beers from around Spain.

This spot is one of my all time favorites and the owners & locals who frequent it are some of the nicest people you’ll meet. Chat with the owners for a bit and who knows, they may even show you their home brews they’ve been concocting.
