These are a few of my favorite cafes to grab the best coffee in Vigo and they make the list for not only having delicious coffee, but also the atmosphere, and baked goods. These cafes are sure to satisfy more than your caffeine needs.

Where to find the best coffee in Vigo
Caracas Bakery
At Caracas Bakery Brunch (Rúa do Paraguai,11) you’ll find a good coffee selection, divine cinnamon rolls, panes de jamón (ham and cheese bread rolls), and slices of tres leches. You really can’t go wrong here. Tell the workers that it’s your first time and they’ll walk you through all of their baked goods.
They even have arepas. With these affordable prices grab a few pastries, coffee to go, and sit at the Vialia rooftop to take in the views of the estuary.

The Hippie Baker
At the end of the touristy seafood street (Oyster street), you’ll find The Hippie Baker. Their baked goods are so delicious you’ll question whether or not they’re actually vegan.
Get here early to have first-choice of freshly baked sweets coming out of the oven. In addition to their delicious bites, this is one of the best coffee in Vigo spots around. You can’t go wrong ordering a dirty chai, latte, cappuccino or a matcha if you’re not that into coffee.
What makes Hippie Baker one of best cafes is its cozy vibes, sweets, coffee, and the hospitality. You can even find local artist’s art displayed on the walls which you can buy as a little keepsake of your time here.

La Manière
Stylish & tantalizing, La Manière will leave you full, satisfied, and feeling inspired to take a crack at doing your own home decor. This cafe serves up smoothies, mouth-watering toasts, and baked goods that’ll keep you coming back for more.
Want to make your own coffee at home? No problem, they sell beans from local roasters and around Spain so you can brew coffee at home. I recommend grabbing a bag of beans from Nomad.
For food, I recommend the peanut butter smoothie, cinnamon buns, and the toast with tomato, jamon, and olive oil. This place has something for everyone to enjoy.

Nakez Coffee
Long standing cafe, Nakez has not only some of the best coffee in Vigo, it also has some of the best views. The views of Cies Islands from their outdoor seating is breathtaking and worth the visit alone. Here I like to order the toasts and coffee; you won’t be disappointed.
During the week they have a breakfast deal that comes with a toast of your choice and a coffee at reasonable prices. This is the perfect place to sit and watch the sunset with a coffee and a slice of biscocho.

Pastelería Fermentum 42
Just around the corner from Nakez is another amazing cafe, Fermentum 42. Their coffee is delicious and served with a complementary sweet bread. In addition to being one of the best coffee in Vigo cafes, they make homemade bread.
Come early to order their sourdough bread, intricate cakes, and pastries. The pastries change day to day, but my favorite is the croissant with pistachio filling.
The service is phenomenal—you’re always greeted with a smile and small talk—but you need to order inside first and then grab a table. They’ve even recently started serving brunch which I haven’t personally tried, but if it’s anything like their coffee and pastries, it’ll be amazing.

SEN Japanese Bakery
Situated in Casco Vello (Old town) in a small hidden storefront you’ll find, SEN Japanese Bakery. As you peek inside you’ll see a wall filled with cat artwork from various artists and a row of Japanese style pastries.
While this cafe is small, the pastries pack flavor. The melon bun, cream cheese bun, and chocolate mochi bun are some of my favorites. They don’t offer seating so, I recommend taking your coffee and pastries to A Laxe mall.
Once there you can go to the rooftop and take in the views of the estuary at the rooftop swing!Whether you’re on the hunt for the best coffee in Vigo or pastries, SEN Japanese Bakery’s got you covered.

The Coffee Land
Would any list about best coffee in Vigo be complete without The Coffee Land? Coffee land isn’t just an award winning coffee shop, they also do latte art, and barista courses. So whether you’re an aspiring barista or a caffeine addict, Coffee Land is the spot for you.
Their matcha, iced coffee, and pistachio white mocha are some of my favorites. Their toasts and pastries are as good as their coffee. I personally come here not only to have coffee, but also to grab beans from Astro Café Roasters.
Insider’s tip: This is one of the few spots in Vigo (and Spain for that matter) where cafe culture is alive. Feel free to bring your laptop and work guilt-free for as long as you’d like. Many locals and expats come here to work, so you won’t be alone. Just be sure to buy some coffee and snacks too.
Did I miss any coffee spots? Which did you enjoy the most?
